The plastic pieces that helps to connect the top to the bottom would probably make the structure stronger if they were metal in my opinion. The stand itself is decent. There are also not enough of them to cover up the holes at the bottom of the space saver (5 holes on each side) which looks cheap. It is rickety and won't hold a lot of weight under pressure. There is a small but obvious hole on one of the doors where they both meet. My only advice is be prepared to put in the time to assemble this because it can be time consuming for sure. She loves the space that's it's freed up in her bathroom. Which is what we did. The Mainstays Space Saver creates valuable storage inside any bathroom by using the normally wasted space above the toilet. This did take me a long time to put together but I did do it by myself, and I don't usually put cabinets together.
