ALooking for some great streaming picks? Like other movies by Hughes like Weird Science, Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club the plot deals with the nerds and alternative kids finding their place and being appreciated for being themselves, while some of the cool kids become accepting, while others are exposed as the jerks that they are. Good quality DVD and excellent value for money. It has that quality where you can watch it in the background while you are cooking and all the scenes are playing in your head and then when you head to bed you can still here that awesome soundtrack playing as you drift to sleep.

I decided to watch this as it is has such good reviews and is hailed as an 80s classic, but it seems that it is best viewed through nostalgia's rose-tinted spectacles.
